Johnson is accused of murdering Rudder on June 21, 2015, at his home at Nandy Park, East Bank Demerara.

Woman Corporal Shondell Bentick, who is stationed at the Providence Police Station as the subordinate Officer-in-Charge, was called upon to testify.

Subsequent to her testimony, the prosecutor was warned by Magistrate Judy Latchman to provide the court with necessary exhibits or close its case.
