This nonsense must stop

Dear Editor,

“It was sad to lose him”. You would think someone had died. That was the reaction of Chairman of Selectors Browne to the banishment of Darren Bravo for saying that the President was not smart not to be cognizant of his (Bravo’s) pay scale when deciding whether to increase or reduce it.

Sangakara could speak at Lords about corruption in cricket governance in his country while touring England, and don his whites the next day. Warne could say that an Australian coach was not adding any value, and play as if nothing happened.  No West Indian cricketer dare say anything negative about the WICB directors. Chairman Browne should be telling Cameron to understand we now live in the 21st century. Instead he, like so many others, is putting his tail between his legs, acting as if Cameron owns West Indies cricket. This nonsense must stop.

Yours faithfully,

Romain Pitt
