Minister of Finance Winston Jordan yesterday clarified that while he had provided to parliament the yearly increases in salaries for public servants, ministers and the presidents during the period 1998 and 2014, he did not total up these increases. Those totals were contained in a press release on Monday from the Office of the Prime Minister which listed Jordan as the source.
Jordan had provided the annual increases during Monday’s sitting of Parliament in response to a question from APNU+AFC MP Jermaine Figueira.
