The Guyana Chess Federation (GCF) in collaboration with the Trophy Stall will stage a one-day FIDE Rapid Chess tournament.
The seven-round Swiss system tournament, takes place today at the National Resource Center on Woolford Avenue, Thomas Lands.
Registration starts at noon with the first move at 13:00 hrs. A registration fee of $1000 for senior and $500 for juniors will be charged. For more information players can contact Irshad Mohamad on 664-1650 or Ronuel Greenidge on 657-7543.
