Since rebranding and opening its doors last year, Tower Gym has embarked on sponsoring athletes that compete in the strength sports; this year will be no different.
The entity has agreed to shoulder the load for three of its members, including two females ahead of the Guyana Amateur Powerlifting Federation (GAPF) Intermediate and Masters Championship on Sunday.
Sisters Blossom Bobb (74kg) and Grace Bobb (72kg) along with Jamal Bentley (74kg) are the athletes who will be looking to add some silverware to Tower Gym’s cabinet when the event gets underway at 10:00hrs at the Banks DIH Sports Club.
The Bobb sisters, are the first female representatives of Tower’s Gym in the sport of powerlifting.
