A youth, was yesterday sentenced to nine months in prison by a city magistrate, after he was found guilty of a robbery charge.

Leon Murray, of Castello Housing Scheme was found guilty and was sentenced to nine months in prison by Magistrate Dylon Bess.

It was alleged that on December 26, 2016, at Castello Housing Scheme, Georgetown, Murray stole two gold chains valued at $115,000, two rings valued at $120,000, and a gold and silver bangle valued at $15,000. The items were the property of Shawn Solomon.
