BP discovers two trillion cubic feet gas in two T&T wells

(Trinidad Express) Good news on gas is on the horizon.

The Express understands British Petroleum (BP) has had success in its exploration of two wells — Savannah and Macadamia.

A formal announcement is expected to be made tomorrow at a news conference at the Hilton Trinidad, St Ann’s, at 2 p.m. which Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley is expected to attend.

A release from BP yesterday stated BP chief executive (Upstream) Bernard Looney and BPTT regional president Norman Christie are scheduled to share an update on BPTT’s development and exploration plans in Trinidad with key stakeholders at an event to “celebrate recent achievements”.
