A man died after he was knocked down on the Parfait Harmonie Access Road, West Bank Demerara on Saturday night.
According to Commander of ‘D’ Division, Leslie James, around 8:15 pm, a still unidentified man, was walking along the access road when he was hit down by a car.
He was subsequently taken to the West Demerara Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival. According to James, the driver is still in police custody assisting with the investigation.
