TPL awards customers in Mash promotion

Toolsie Persaud Limited yesterday rewarded 13 customers with gift prizes as part of its Grand Mashramani Promotion.

“Mashramani which means the celebration after hard work was the motive for Toolsie Persaud Limited to reward some of its customers so that they would be able to better enjoy the country’s 47th Republic Anniversary,” the company said in a statement.

During the period of February 1st to February 22nd, customers who shopped $50,000 and over were allowed to fill out coupons to enter the draw. The first prize winner, Leroy Lewis, received a trip for two to Aruwai resort, all expenses paid, as well as spending money.

Lewis, a contractor, expressed his excitement at the win, while noting that it was the first time he had ever been the winner of any promotions. He stated that his entry into the draw came after he bought a variety of items for work. Lewis said he is looking forward to enjoying the trip with his wife.

In second place was Sean Clarke, who won a 32 inch HDTV Samsung television set and the 3rd place prize of a microwave oven went to Hubert Urlin.

The remaining consolation prize winners received two movie tickets each to attend screenings at the Caribbean Cinemas.

The management of Toolsie Persaud Limited, which has been in operation for 65 years, expressed its hopes that Guyanese would be proud of their rich cultural heritage and would work together to achieve the country’s motto of ‘One People, One Nation, One Destiny.’
