It will be the local lumber giants, Toolsie Persaud’s entry into sponsoring tournaments at the club and officials are expecting a large field of players to compete.
Last weekend’s winner Mark Lashley and other prize winners of the Mashramani tournament including Charles Niebert, Bruce Cummings and Dr. Ram Singh will be going all out to turn back the challenge of the strong field.
Other top players listed to compete are Alfred Mentore, Mohanlall Dinanauth, William Walker, Mike Mangal, Imran Khan, Patrick Prashad, Esau Shamshudin, Albert Semple, Brian Hackett, Boloram Deo, Lester Alvis, Chatterpaul Deo, Maurice Solomon, Colin Ming, Ronald Bulkan, Alfred Mentore, Mighty Raja, Kishun Bacchus, Geert Heikens, Clifford Reis, Carlos Adams, Andre Cummings, Christine Sukhram, Joaan Deo, Mel Sankies, Ian Gouveia, Mike Guyadin, Kassim Khan, Ayube Subhan, Albert Russell, Melissa Humphrey, Francois Montour and Troy Codogan.
Prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers as well as the player with lowest gross.
There will also be a prize for Nearest to the Pin.
Representatives of Toolsie Persaud Ltd. are expected to attend and assist in the presentation of prizes.
