Unbeaten outfit Slingerz FC consigned third-place unit, the Guyana Police Force (GPF), to their second defeat in the KFC Elite League as they prevailed 4-0 on Saturday evening at the National Training Centre, Providence.
It was the eighth consecutive win for Slingerz, as they remain in hot pursuit of defending champion and league leader, the Guyana Defence Force.

Marcus Tudor recorded the only conversion of the first half in the 43rd minute. However, the aforesaid conversion opened the proverbial floodgates, as the Vergenoegen unit tallied three unanswered goals in the second stanza.
Simeon Moore doubled their lead in the 49th minute, before Curtez Kellman pushed the score to 3-0 with a 65th-minute strike. The contest was then sealed in the 73rd minute, as Darron Niles found the back of the net. The event continues tomorrow at the same venue with another round of matches.
