Maintenance Workshop and Wholesale Liquor sealed their berths to the second round in the Banks DIH Limited XM Inter-Department Domino Championship, defeating Soft Drink Plant on Wednesday.
The aforementioned duo punched their ticket to the next stage of the competition via the walkover route at the Thirst Park Sports Club, after Soft Drink Plant failed to take the playing area at the fixture’s scheduled time.
The event which is being contested under the XM Rum brand, is scheduled to resume on Saturday June 17th at the same venue.
The six teams slated to be action on the aforesaid date are Vehicle Workshop, Sales Department, Berbice Branch, Central Service, Brewery and Linden.
