The Lucas Stock Index (LSI) rose 0.40 percent during the second period of trading in April 2018. The stocks of two companies were traded with 58,497 shares changing hands. There was one Climber and no Tumblers. The stocks of the Guyana Bank for Trade & Industry (BTI) rose 4.17 percent on the sale of 51,465 shares. In the meanwhile, the stocks of the Demerara Tobacco Company (DTC) remained unchanged on the sale of 7,032 shares. The LSI closed at 354.59.
