Sir Leon lessons crowned Milo champs

Sir Leon Lessons were crowned Milo Secondary School U18 football champions, humbling Buxton United 5-1 Saturday at the Ministry of Education ground, Carifesta Avenue.

Zion Gray fashioned a hat-trick in the rout in the second, 48th and 63rd minute while Alain Franklin and Teon Forde scored in the 59th and 90th+2 minute apiece.

For Buxton United,  Shamash London netted in the 18th minute. The victor walked away with $500,000 towards a school project and the championship trophy.

On the other hand, the loser pocketed $300,000 and the corresponding accolade. In the third place playoff, Annandale Secondary defeated Lodge Secondary via walkover.

With the result, Annandale walked away with $200,000 towards a school project and a trophy, while the loser copped $100,000 towards a school initiative and a trophy.
