KFC Guyana sponsors 3rd  Martial Arts Championships

KFC Guyana is now the major sponsor of the third annual Guyana South America undiscovered Martial Arts Championships, Health and Business Expo.

The fast food entity pledged its support to the championships at a simple handing over ceremony at the company’s head office.

Chairman of Korean International, Roland Eudoxie, thanked the company for   supporting the event which is billed for July 20-22 at the National Gymnasium, Mandela Avenue.

Marketing Manager of the local franchise, Livasti Bhooplall said:“KFC is excited to be associated with youth development, Martial Arts and sports in particular are avenues that instill discipline in our youths and we wish Korean International the very best with the competition.”

In addition to the monetary support of this initiative, KFC will also offer five youths the opportunity to benefit from martial arts training programme in Guyana.

Bhooplall said the championships will serve as a hub for the development of Martial Arts as they work closely with the government, the NGO’s and the private sector to create a lasting, strong and effective event adding that they have secured a commitment from KJN Billy Blanks and KJN Eric Kovaleski to be Special Guests and to share their expertise at the upcoming prestigious event.
