The 14th annual Macorp golf extravaganza will tee off from 12.30 hours Saturday at the Lusignan Golf Club ground.
According to the organisers, the event is set to be historic since it is the first time an invitation has been issued to customers to come out and participate in an informal setting dubbed “a meet and greet” affair.
Keen competition is expected since this tournament is one of the largest on the calendar of activities for the club with prizes for the first and second placed golfers on net scores across four flights, 0-9, 10-18, 19-28 for men as well as a female flight, the organisers said.
Golfers can also claim accolades for the best net overall, best gross, longest drive, nearest the pin along with raffle prizes that ensures almost every player gets a gift.
Bholaram Deo is the defending champion.
Also expected to be on the greens is head of Macorp, Guillemro Escarraga.
