I have seen a report in the Kaieteur News of 28th June, 2019, in which Dr. Nanda Gopaul, Director of the New Building Society, is reported, in giving evidence before the Court, as having said that I was “hired…to conduct an internal probe of the matter”, in connection with a wrongful dismissal lawsuit brought against the NBS.
I wish to point out that my company, Public Communications Consultants Limited, was, in fact, contracted by the NBS to provide “public communications policy and public relations” services to the NBS and, not as reported, “a private investigator” as alleged by Attorney Robin Stoby.
It follows, however, that any professional Public Communications Consultant, worth his salt, would conduct a thorough examination of the facts of the matter for which he has been engaged to represent and report accordingly to his client.
