A minibus conductor was yesterday committed to stand trial for the alleged rape of an 18-year-old girl in 2016.

Dorian Fredericks was faced with the charge in May. It is alleged that between October 1st and October 31st, 2016, he engaged in sexual penetration of the young woman without her consent.

Magistrate Sherdel Isaacs-Marcus committed him to stand trial yesterday after finding that there was sufficient evidence against him to face a jury of his peers in the High Court.
