The Guyana Sugar Corporation Inc (GuySuCo) is notifying Tour Agencies that it will be holding a consultation on its ‘Draft Cultural Heritage (Sugar) Tourism Strategy’ on 13 August, 2019 from 09:00 – 12:00 hours at the Corporation’s Head Office, La Bonne Intention Compound. A GuySuCo press release said that Tour Agencies that are interested in participating are invited to contact the Communications Department on 220-2891-94 to register their agencies by Wednesday 7 August, 2019.
The release said that the ‘Cultural Heritage (Sugar) Tourism’ Programme is a new business line and is one of the three value-added products along with White Sugar and Co-generation, aimed at building more resilience and sustainability into its business.
