(Trinidad Guardian) The death toll from a violent bandit attack at sea continues to rise this morning as the bodies of two more missing fishermen surfaced along the Cedros coastline this morning.
According to Karishma Ramdeo, her brother, Shiva Ramdeo’s body was found in Cedros this morning.
Another fisherman, identified as Brandon Kissoon’s body was also found. Ramdeo was 27 while Kissoon was 19.
The two were among seven lost at sea when gun-toting bandits held them up, beat them and forced them to jump overboard their fishing vessels on Monday night.
So far, four bodies have been found. Anand Rampersad’s body was found on Wednesday morning while another body surfaced late on Wednesday night.
That body remains unidentified.
