GFF represented at CONCACAF workshop in Panama

The Guyana Football Federation (GFF) is presently participating in a two-day CONCACAF Professional Football Development Workshop in Panama City, Panana.

Representing the federation at the forum which ends today is recent appointed General Secretary (Ag) and Club Licensing Manager Ian Alves.

According to the confederation, the workshop will serve as a platform to provide the respective member associations with detailed information on profession matters and engagements.

Among the information that will be disseminated at the forum include formal training on the new Club Licensing Model, ‘Competition Management Expert System’

(COMET), CONCACAF Club competition updates, and global best practices relative to infrastructure and stadium accessibility.

COMET is a football management system aimed at improving the planning, management, and execution of CONCACAF football operations, including refereeing, competition management, inventory, accreditation and club licensing.

The workshop is being attended by Club Licensing Managers from Concacaf Member Associations.
