US Ambassador drops in on visiting Seaboard Corporation vessel

On Monday September 30th, United States Ambassador to Guyana Sarah-Ann Lynch toured the flour milling operations of the National Milling Company at Agricola on the East Bank Demerara. During the tour of the facility the US Ambassador was invited to join the Captain and Crew on board the vessel MV African Jacaranda, a vessel owned by NAMILCO’s parent company, Seaboard Corporation which was in the process of discharging wheat for the local company.

Accompanying Ambassador Lynch on the tour were NAMILCO Managing Director Bert Sukai and other senior NAMILCO functionaries.
