The twelfth edition of Guyana Where & What has been published and according to the publishers it continues to be a “handy guidebook containing materials of interest for the average tourist.”
The handbook was first published in 2006 for the cricket world cup and has continued to be published annually.
According to GEMS Theatre Productions, publisher of the handbook, it can be conveniently carried around as one traverses the length and breadth of Guyana, sightseeing. It was boasted that both visitors and Guyanese have found it very educational and informative. A few schools use it as a reference guide.
Distribution is done through the airports, hotels, travel agencies, tour companies and operators, local and overseas embassies and high commissions, Go-Invest, local and international trade fairs, tourism packages given to attendees for seminars and conventions and local expos staged throughout Guyana.
Copies can be uplifted from the Guyana Tourism Authority and Tourism and Hospitality Association of Guyana or through its publisher, Gem Madhoo Nascimento.
