The Guyana Oil Company (Guyoil) has terminated three contracts with Trinidadian entity Commissiong and Company Limited citing alleged breaches of contractual obligations.
Sources say the contracts were for:
a) supply and delivery of one light truck at Providence terminal
b) supply and delivery of one rigid tank wagon at Providence
c) supply, fabrication and erection of two 10,000 US gallons storage tanks.
The Trinidadian company was notified on October 7th in writing of the terminations.
In relation to the contracts Guyoil said that the company had failed to provide the requisite bank guarantees.
