Defending champs West Ruimveldt among winners

Defending champions West Ruimveldt, Tucville, North Georgetown and Timehri were amongst the winners when the Smalta Girls Pee Wee Primary School Football Championship continued yesterday at the Ministry of Education ground, Carifesta Avenue.

West Ruimveldt needled Marian Academy 1-0. Tyana George scored in the 25th minute.

On the other hand, North Georgetown crushed Redeemer 5-0. Martha Chance smashed five goals in the seventh, eighth, 14th, 27th and 30th minute.

Similarly, Tucville mauled FC Pollard 4-0. Kasmin James bagged a brace in the fifth and 15th minute, while Shericka Carmichael and Shania Lovell scored in the 29th and 30th minute respectively.

Likewise, Timehri brushed aside St Margaret’s 4-0. Angel Bailey tallied a hat-trick in the fifth, ninth and 22nd minute, while Althia Trotman added a goal in the 14th minute.

In other results, Smith Memorial and South Ruimveldt battled to a 2-2 draw, while Genesis and St Stephen’s contested a scoreless affair. Below features the complete list of results.
