The Brian Tiwari Birthday Anniversary 9-a-side Inter-Ward football tournament is set to conclude tomorrow at the National Track and Field Centre ground, Leonora.
In the opening match at 16:00hrs, Wales will oppose Soesdyke while Gaza will oppose Plaisance from 16:30hrs.
Pouderoyen will then battle Hurry ATE at 17:00hrs while in the fourth match, Den Amstel Kings will engage Timehri at 17:30hrs.
The fifth fixture will pit Den Amstel against Crane from 18:00hrs with West Side Spartans tackling Casa Coima from 18:30hrs. The respective winners will advance to the quarterfinal section. This will be followed by the semi-final stage and eventual grand finale.
The first prize is $200,000 while the second, third and fourth place prizes are $100,000, $60,000 and $40,000 respectively. The event is being coordinated by former national coach Lennox `Mulling’ Arthur.
