The Police say they are investigating the murder of Romel Williams, 24, a pork knocker of North West District and Uitvlugt, WCD which occurred about 11 pm on Friday at George Creek, Siparuni, Region Eight allegedly by an 18-year-old who is in custody assisting with the investigation.
Police say that the victim and suspect along with others were imbibing at a shop when an argument ensued and the victim was reportedly stabbed in the abdomen during a scuffle with the suspect. The victim was pronounced dead on arrival at the Mackenzie Hospital.
The police say that the body is presently at G. Jesco Funeral Home awaiting a post-mortem examination.
