Which D do the Guyanese people want? Destruction or Development? Investment in the oil and gas sector has put Guyana on the cusp of providing its people a really good life for the foreseeable future.
Do you think the Guyanese people want to blow this opportunity?
Do you think the investors would be comfortable in a climate that spells destruction?
Do you think any Venezuelan Government would ignore the possibility of taking advantage of a Guyana in turmoil?
Now is the time for all of us, political parties, civil society, citizens at home and abroad to think logically, act responsibly and embrace the vision of a unified Guyana. Like them or dislike them, Guyana’s future is in the hands of President Granger and Opposition Leader Jagdeo and what emerges from their meeting today.
Let their hands be safe hands!
