Dear Editor,
I am sad to learn of Ron Savory’s death. I offer heartfelt condolences to his wife and family and friends. He was one of the great ones. An unmistakeable Savorian light shone in his paintings and made them marvellous. Last night my wife and I made a small pilgrimage around the beautiful paintings of his we have on the walls of our home and thought how honoured we are.
