Allicock, Amsterdam in action as Patrick Forde Memorial tournament commences

The National Gymnasium is the place to be tonight to witness the second edition of the Patrick Ford Memorial Tournament.

Action gets underway at 19:00hrs and the card is stacked with 15 fights. 

Boxing standouts, Keevin Allicock (bantamweight) and Desmond Amsterdam (middleweight) are set to highlight the card against opponents from Trinidad and Tobago.

 Boxers from Suriname will also compete at the event which is promoted by the Guyana Boxing Association (GBA) and Alford McDonald. Admission for the event which is sponsored by the National Sports Commission and Tower Suites is $2000 for ringside and $1000 for stands.
