Linden Foundation Secondary defeated New Silvercity 1-0, when the 1th edition of the Edward ‘Screw’ Richmond U18 Football Championship continued on Monday at the Wisburg Secondary School ground.
On target in the victory was Shadrack Mackenzie, who found the back of the net in the 33rd minute.
In the second match of the doubleheader, home side Wisburg Secondary battled to scoreless draw with Linden Technical Institute.
The tournament continues today [Wednesday] at the same venue with another doubleheader. The opening match at 14:45hrs will pit Wisburg Secondary against Linden Foundation Secondary.
In the second matchup, Harmony Secondary will faceoff with Mackenzie High at 16:00hrs.
