Trinidad: Four men riddled with bullets

(Trinidad Express) Four men were shot and killed in a vehicle at Rancho Quemado Village on Trinidad’s south coast on Tuesday afternoon.

They have been identified Shaquille Dottin, 22, of South trace, Rancho Quermado, Antonio Alexander, 28, of Hilltop Trace, Springvale, Claxton Bay, their cousin Jabari Taylor, of No. 8 Road, Palo Seco, and 17-year-old Alifia Augustine.

 
The shooting happened in the yard of a house located near the Rancho Quemado Primary School.

The dead men were in a Nissan AD wagon when several gunmen surrounded the vehicle and began blasting away, with bullets smashing the windows.

 
The driver died where he sat from multiple bullet wounds to the head and face. Am arm was almost severed by one of the gunshots.

Two rear-seat passengers also died in the vehicle.

The front seat passenger, the 17-year-old, managed to get out of the vehicle but was shot several when he fell. He was taken alive from the scene but died at hospital.

The gunmen used automatic weapons.

A Nissan Wingroad was found bunrt at Johnson Trace, Rancho Quemado, and police believe it was the vehicle used by the killers in the attack.
