(Trinidad Express) Police are investigating the shooting deaths of a man and his two-year-old daughter on Friday night.
It happened at the family’s Bamboo Trace, Upper Fairly Street, Tunapuna home at around 7:30pm.
The victims were identified at Stephon McLeod, also known as Goondaz, and his daughter, Anniya.
Investigators said officers responded to reports of a shooting in the district and found the father and daughter.
They were taken to the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex, where they both died while being treated.
Police said McLeod was a known drug offender.
