The Ministry of Health (MOH) this evening said that as of 5 pm today, two other persons who tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) have died. This takes the total number of deaths from the pandemic to 82.
The latest fatalities are a 61 -year-old female from Demerara-Mahaica (Region 4) who died while receiving care at the ministry’s medical facility. The other is a 60 -year-old man from Essequibo Islands-West Demerara (Region 3), the ministry said.
