Ramson Jr., replaces Granger as patron of Rose Hall Youth & Sports Club

Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports Charles Ramson Jr., has replaced former President David Granger as the Honorary Patron of the Rose Hall Youth and Sports Club, the club has informed. 

“It is with great pleasure that I inform you that the Minister of Sports, Mr Charles Ramson Jr., has agreed to become our sixth Honorary Patron, replacing former President David Granger, whose term as our fifth Patron has come to an end.

Mr Ramson Jr., would be sworn in later this month and would serve for five years,” said Simon Naidu, the club’s assistant Secretary via a press release.

The position of Patron, according to Naidu’s statement, is an honorary one and the person will serve as a positive role model to members. Club Secretary/CEO Hilbert Foster and the Minister held discussions recently where the Minister readily agreed to accept the position. 

The club, which boasts  a rich history and is one of the most organised institutions in the country, previously awarded the title to four other individuals namely former President Desmond Hoyte, June Mendes of Farfan and Mendes, CEO of GO INVEST Peter Ramsaroop and Ansa Mcal’s Country Manager Beverly Harper.
