LUCAS STOCK INDEX

The Lucas Stock Index (LSI) rose 0.97% during the second period of trading in October 2020. The stocks of five companies were traded, with 111,342 shares changing hands. There were three Climbers and no Tumblers. The stocks of Banks DIH (DIH) rose 2.56% on the sale of 61,700 shares, the stocks of Demerara Tobacco Company (DTC) rose 0.52% on the sale of 5,545 shares while the stocks of Republic Bank Limited (RBL) rose 1.35% on the sale of 5,550 shares.  In the meanwhile, the stocks of Demerara Distillers Limited (DDL) and Guyana Bank for Trade and Industry (BTI) remained unchanged on the sale of 33,147 and 5,400 shares, respectively. The LSI closed at 647.64.
