A couple was arrested at an East La Penitence Georgetown home on Monday after an unlicensed .32 Taurus pistol with three matching rounds were found hidden in their oven.
The Guyana Police Force said during a search a 24 year-old male and his 25-year-old wife, who were both present, were arrested.
They remained in custody up to yesterday as they were being processed for a court appearance.
