The Lucas Stock Index rose 2.11% during the second period of trading in December 2020. The stocks of five companies were traded, with 662,937 shares changing hands. The stocks of Demerara Distillers Limited (DDL) rose 9.09% on the sale of 3,938 shares, while the stocks of Demerara Tobacco Company (DTC) rose 2.56% on the sale of 3,933 shares. In the meanwhile, the stocks of Banks DIH (DIH), Demerara Bank Limited (DBL) and Republic Bank Limited (RBL) remained unchanged on the sale of 605,594 shares, 46,512 shares and 2,960 shares, respectively.
