Dear Editor,
It is heresy for a founding member of the club to call for a reduction in the number and frequency of your columnists. Simply put they are too many. The law of diminishing marginal returns applies. Where is/are the standout/must read writers? Why do they not make it to the web version front page?
The columnist’s cottage garden is long overdue for pruning as is some severe subbing of long, self-serving letters.
