The Guyana Water Incorporated (GWI) yesterday hosted its first ever Holiday Hot Meal activities in Central Georgetown, Region 4 and New Amsterdam, Berbice, Region 6.
A release from GWI said the exercise saw 150 hot meals and beverages being distributed in the capital city and 120 hot meals and beverages distributed in Berbice.
The Ministers of Housing and Water, Collin Croal and Susan Rodrigues joined the mobile GWI team and assisted in the sharing of the meals and beverages in the vicinity of the New Amsterdam market.
GWI’s team in Georgetown included Executive Director of Human Resources Management and Development, Elvis Jordon, Executive Director of Corporate Services, Nigel Niles and other staff. They distributed the meals in the vicinity of the Bourda market.
