Jamaican man disguises himself as the Black Panther to claim $301.5M lotto prize

(Jamaica Star) G. Samuels, the Jamaican who recently won the $301.5-million Super Lotto jackpot, says he has been playing Lotto for 19 years.

The man, who collected his winnings last Friday, said he has always had faith that he would win the jackpot. Samuels said that since winning the $301.5 million, he has also won more than $100,000 with Supreme’s Cash Pot game.

His winning Super Lotto, quick-print ticket was purchased for $300 from the Lotto Super Store in Clock Tower Plaza, Half-Way Tree, St Andrew, was one of two Jamaican winners of the multi-jurisdictional game in 2020. He won with the numbers 03, 14, 25, 33, 35 and Super Ball 02 for draw number 1159.

Collecting his jackpot in a Black Panther costume, Samuels said that he aims to use his massive payday to kick back and relax for the foreseeable future.

“I didn’t really have any particular goal in mind. I just wanted to win enough money so I could retire and buy a house and a car. Now I am able to do way more than that, and I’m excited about all the things I can do with my winnings,” he said.
