A construction worker was on Sunday shot in both legs at Well Road Ogle, East Coast Demerara.
Mosai Edwards, 38, of Enterprise, East Coast Demerara was shot at approximately 11.30 pm.
A Guyana Police Force report said that following the incident, the police were called and subsequently transported Edwards to the Georgetown Public Hospital where he underwent surgery.
According to the police, Edwards remains a patient at the said hospital in a stable condition.
Investigations are ongoing.
