Armed robbery accused on $50,000 bail

A man who was charged with break and entry and armed robbery has been released on $100,000 bail.

Patrick Letlow appeared at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Courts yesterday when Principal Magistrate Sherdel Isaacs-Marcus read two charges to him.

The first charge states that during the night of December 22, 2020, at Freeman Street, East La Penitence, Georgetown, he broke into and entered the dwelling house of Christy Oma and stole a Hoajue motorcycle #CJ 8848, valued $185,000, and property of Romeo London.

The second charges states that the following day at Guyhoc Park, Georgetown, while in the company of another, and while armed with a gun, Letlow robbed Romeo London of a Honda XR motorcycle #CK 5849, valued $190,000 and property of Romeo London.

He pleaded not guilty to both charges and was released on $50,000 bail for each charge. He is to return to court in February.
