A murder suspect was yesterday arrested after the police conducted a raid at a Matthews Ridge home and found him hiding under a bed.
Police yesterday reported that a 57-year-old man of Hell Hill, Matthews Ridge, Region One, who is wanted over the murder of Orlando La Cruz, 40, of Pomeroon River which occurred on June 15, 2017, at Jack and Vieira Backdam, North West District, Region One, was found hiding under a bed.
According to the police, a raid for weapons, ammunition and narcotics, was conducted at the home of a 53-year-old resident of Garrison Hill, Matthews Ridge, Region One. During the search, the murder suspect was found under a bed. He was arrested and escorted to the Matthews Ridge Police Station and is presently in custody.
