Eleven persons working as touts in the city were on Thursday arrested by police for soliciting minibus passengers.
The Guyana Police Force said in a brief statement that the arrests were made during an exercise conducted by ranks attached to the Traffic Office at Brickdam.
The statement added that touts, who were arrested at the various mini-bus parks around the city, are expected to face charges soon.
