Ganesh Ramcharran, 19, a vendor, was on Monday charged with assault and use of threatening behaviour when he appeared at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Courts before Principal Magistrate Sherdel Isaacs-Marcus.
It is alleged that on December 11, 2020, at Water Street, Georgetown, he assaulted Kennard Ramah so as to cause him actual bodily harm. It was also alleged that on the same date and at the same location, he displayed threatening behaviour toward Ramah.
After denying both charges, he was released on $10,000 bail for each charge. The matter was adjourned until April 8.
