A man was on Tuesday released on $100,000 bail after pleading not guilty to two charges of possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking.
Neil Krishna, a resident of Mon Repos, East Coast Demerara, appeared before Magistrate Alisha George at the Sparendaam Magistrate’s Court, where the charges were read to him.
He pleaded not guilty to both charges which stated that he had in his possession 13 grammes of cocaine and 70 grammes of cannabis for the purpose of trafficking.
He was granted bail and ordered to make his next court appearance on May 19, when the matter will be called again.
