Dear Editor,
In the SN Editorial `More fishy tales’ (SN, 28th March 2021) the focus has been on the sustainability of fishing in Guyana. And, rightly so.
Why do the Chinese need to open a fishery processing centre in Guyana to send food to China? Are the Chinese people starving in China?
Clearly, fishing has become unsustainable in Chinese waters so they now are coming to Guyana.
China is expansionist. China is not a friend to Guyanese people; they just want our resources.
