The Ministry of Health today said that as of June 18, 2021, two more persons who tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) have died. This takes the total number of deaths from the pandemic to 444.
The latest fatalities are a 77 year old woman and a 40 year old male, both from Region 4 (Demerara-Mahaica). They died while receiving care at our medical facility.
