Dear Editor,
To suggest the organisation does not have the right to determine when employees take leave accrued, over a period of time, is suggesting employees are lone rangers and above and bigger than the organization. The edict passed, ‘you don’t use it, you lose it’ regarding leave, applies, regardless of status. In a particular case it was reported the decision to send certain categories of employees on leave was unanimous. So why the hue and cry?
